Remembrance
As so many people's lives were touched by the Comet Line, it was inevitable that the Line would be fondly remembered. Airmen, helpers, and children and families of both all take part in remembering how average people risked their lives to save those they didn't know. Comet Remembrance Goal"Our primary aim is to ensure that the acts of bravery, the risks incurred and the suffering endured do not fall into oblivion. All members acted in a totally unselfish manner with the sole aim of helping others and restoring freedom to their fellow citizens and to themselves."

Lights in the Darkness
"All resistors were men and women of strong conviction."

Sometimes the biggest way to stand for what is right is to shrink back into the shadows and go unnoticed while you fight for freedom and justice, for if you stood or spoke out you would die. This is exactly what the members of the Comet Line did. In such a dark time they fought for freedom, for what was just and right without concern if their names were known and praised after the war.
These silent heroes, these courageous fighters, were lights in the darkness guiding people to freedom.
Always burning. Always bright.
